2012 Conference: “God Said Something”

May 21, 2012

Pastors today are constantly drawn away from the fundamentals of biblical ministry toward gimmicks and sure fire ways to “grow the church.” The seeming success of other churches and pressure from other well-meaning believers can sometimes become a heavy burden to the pastor who is attempting to be faithful to the biblical model of ministry.

This year’s Conference On the Church for God’s Glory is a reminder conference. You will probably hear nothing new. What you will hear is the Word of God plainly expounded and a call back to the fundamentals of biblical pastoral ministry. The theme this year is “God Said Something.” Our speakers include Steve Thomas, T. J. Klapperich, Scott Aniol and Jason Parker. Workshop titles are: What did God say about the church?  What did God say about the church and discipleship? What did God say about preaching? What did God say about worship?  And, What did God say about the ordinances? The Bible is filled with “remember passages” in which God reminds His children of something He has previously taught them. This day will remind us of what God has called His shepherds and His churches to do.

This year’s CCGG will again include the Publisher’s Bookroom. Christian publishers from across the country will display their best resources and most have agreed to provide free books to attendees.
